Ice Climbing 101
If you have never climbed ice before, this is your chance to give it a shot! Learn about rope and safety systems, and how to use the tools and techniques of the trade to move up moderate to steep ice. Space available: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Ice Climbing for Rock Climbers
This clinic is designed for climbers who know the basics of belaying and climbing movement. Learn how to use ice axes and crampons, and how to translate rock climbing awareness into ice climbing technique. Space available: Friday and Sunday
Steep Waterfall Ice Climbing Skills
This clinic is sure to fill quickly! Learn how to move smoothly and confidently up vertical ice without getting pumped. Space available: Friday, Saturday and Sunday!!!
Alpine Snow and Ice Skills
If you have an alpine objective on your bucket list, this course is a great place to start. You will cover all the steps of a multi-pitch alpine climb, from belaying and equipment use to rope management, gear placement, and route finding. Space available: Friday and Sunday
Mount Washington Ascent
Known for its extreme above-treeline weather conditions, Mount Washington is the highest peak in the Northeast. On an ascent of Mount Washington, you will learn basic mountaineering skills, winter navigation, and self-arrest techniques. Space available: Friday and Sunday!!!
Climbing on Thin Ice
If you are an ice climber in the Northeast, climbing thin ice is a necessary skill to have in the toolkit. Learn how to navigate this terrain with balance and finesse. Space available: Saturday and Sunday
Mixed Climbing
Learn how to use your ice axes and crampons to conquer challenging mixed terrain with AWESOME guest guide Tim Emmett. This clinic is limited to 4 participants, so sign up quick! Space available Saturday
Learn to Lead
