This clinic offers a tailored experience to help you transition from beginner to intermediate ice climbing. In a supportive and inclusive environment, you’ll build confidence and sharpen your technical skills.
The day begins with a gear check and orientation, followed by lessons on building secure top rope anchors on ice and mastering ice screw placement and removal. You’ll also learn how to create and test V-threads, a critical skill for emergency situations.
In the afternoon, the focus shifts to advanced climbing techniques, including precise footwork, efficient tool placement, and linking moves for smoother climbing on steeper ice. You’ll have ample time to practice on top rope with personalized feedback to help you refine your skills.
Whether you’re looking to gain new technical knowledge or improve your climbing efficiency, this clinic offers a comprehensive and empowering experience. All technical gear, including ropes, ice screws, and demo equipment (helmets, harnesses, crampons, and ice axes), is provided.
Join us for a transformative day of climbing, learning, and connecting with a community of like-minded climbers!
This clinic includes all technical gear: crampons, ice tools, harnesses, helmets, and packs. Clothing may also be available for demo, though it’s not guaranteed.
