Nick Aiello-Popeo

Nick has soloed Repentance and Remission, climbed a new route in the Himalaya, and snapped his femur on the mellow Sherburne Ski Trail. Nick is a professional Mountain Guide who spent a decade guiding ascents of Denali (20,310′). He’s also guided and climbed many technical alpine routes in the Alaska Range. His first ascent of the 4,600-foot north face of Mt. Neacola was cited as a Significant Ascent by the Piolets d’Or. Nick teaches avalanche courses for Synnott Mountain Guides and runs his cabinet making business in Conway. Nick’s greatest joy is time spent with his wonderful wife and their spunky two year old girl!
