Tom started his climbing back in the early 80’s out in California. In the 90’s he moved to Grenoble, France where he skied some classic backcountry routes as well as getting in some alpine climbing in the Haute Alpes of France. In 2000 Tom moved to New England where he picked up ice climbing, then moved full-time to Conway in 2016 and helping out guiding at IMCS. Over the last few decades, he was fortunate to climb Ama Dablam, Chulu West and lead a small team expedition on an attempt on Annapurna IV, in Nepal. Nowadays he enjoys getting out and finding ice and thinking about the next big adventure.
